✈ Autumn in Kyoto 2013

06. 12. 13 Friday~ [Day 01]

It had been a few years since i last went holiday with my bestie. And this time only the 2 of us.
Initially, we didn't plan Kyoto in our itinerary.
Firstly, we don't expect to see Autumn Leaves in our trip.
But we heard from friend that Kyoto is in a full fall of Autumn Leaves now.
So... we kindly changed our plan last minute by stopping over in Kyoto before we proceed to Hiroshima.

And yup, we went to Kiyomizu Temple.
Kiyomizu Temple is famous in Kyoto & of course during the Autumn Season.

How wonderful to see the changing colours of Autumn.
One of my favourite season at the moment. (as i have not seen Cherry Blossom before) Lol!!~
The changing of colours is just sooooo
Awesome!~
This is my 2nd time for this season. Feel so blessed & lucky to be here.

Autumn is one of the best season in japan. ✌
Come explore & i believed that you will fall in love with this Season too. ~

Mini Maple leafs everywhere~

Tadah!~  Got "YOU"!!!

This time round, i managed to came in "Jishu-jinja Shrine".
It's a shrine which is dedicated to deity of love and matchmaking.
Yippeee!!~

Lots of Love Amulet can be found here.

As expected, i got the "FIND LOVE" amulet. I had been wanting to get it since last year.

Love Fortune Telling at 200yen~

Drop a 200yen into the box on the left.
And pick up your lucky love fortune telling lucky dip.

Omikuji (おみくぎ)  – random fortunes written in Japanese on paper.
My Love Fortune
is
NOT GOOD!!~ (/ω・\)

LOVE STONE
In front of the shrine are two stones, placed 18 meters apart. Successfully finding your way from one to the other with your eyes closed is said to bring luck in finding love. You can also have someone guide you from one stone to the other, but that is interpreted to mean that an intermediary will be needed in your love life as well.

And Yup, Bestie lead me with my eyes closed from one stone to another.
haaa!!!~
Lets hope i will be able to find my other half soon.
Hope it will be better in year 2014.

Our first street snack in Japan.

Deep Fried Shrimp & Onion and Cuttlefish.
Yum Yum!!!~

Shopped around Kiyomizu-zaka street.
Settled ourselves in a restaurant for lunch before we proceed back to Kyoto Station.

Oh yah, i almost forget to mention that there are actually Luggage Storage available in Kyoto Station which is so much convenient for us.

Baggage (Deposit)
You can ask at the reception to deposit your luggages for the day!!
All You need to do is to write down your name and get the receipt by return.
Keep the receipt carefully as proof.  It cost 410yen per luggage.

✏ Next post will be on "Hiroshima"
